The Boardman CX Comp Bike 2014 represents the British manufacturer’s entry into the cyclocross market. The bike’s drop handlebars facilitate an aerodynamic riding position that’s not dissimilar to Boardman’s road models. But throw in a thick alloy frame and wide Schwalbe Tyrago Kevlar Guard 700c tyres and you have a bike that offers you the grip and stability of a sturdy mountain bike.
The result is an excellent triathlon bike that performs as well on the road as it does cruising over mud tracks or potholes.
